Caught a bus for the two hour trip up the coast to Kavala in the Macedonia region of Greece.

Very pretty wooded hillsides with houses and olive groves and a lot of grape vines that were covered to protect them.

Most Philippians followed religious cults linked to a variety of Greek and Roman gods. The Jewish community there was ...

Morning.... Not too shabby a view from our balcony!

The mountains were formed by... Mmm ... Some process I can't remember but they are truly spectacular. There are hundreds of shapes and sizes and are one of the unique landforms of Europe. They tower of the town of Kalambaka and sitting atop is the monastery we will visit today.

We began our day by visiting some of the living monasteries and viewing the extraordinary collection of priceless ...

Also, Lydia is an important example in hospitality. She recognized that Paul, Luke, and Silas were travelers and were servants of God and she wanted to honor them by having them stay at her house and to provide food and accommodations. It is apparent when a believer has been genuinely touched by the Lord and the good news and their heart has been made new. An unexplainable sense of gratitude and appreciation fills ones soul and they realize that they have ...
