... setting up camp, we were welcomed by two Blacktail deer who idly fed not 15 feet from our trailer completely unfazed by our presence.

Even though we are at 7400 feet in elevation it is very hot and dry, literally sucking the moisture out of everything The humidity reported was only 7%! In the afternoon, the winds pick up, preventing us from using our canopy. Despite these minor annoyances, this is a heavenly spot.

They have been camping several times now and did really well on our first trip, so I just need to see how they react to large crowds and lots of bikes. Could be interesting. #42 Tombow Airpress Pen - Ebay $13 new: I chose this pen a while back for work and this thing is legit. I have gone through a few ink refills on it already. It will write in the rain and go until the ink runs out guaranteed. The only disadvantage is the ink refill is only about 2 1/2 inches long so you have to bring some extras.
