    ... nothing amazing there so didn't stay longer than half hour. We drove down to the pier again and went for a walk then the plan was to sit and chill on the beach but it wasn't too warm. Dan went for a quick swim while I had my candy crush fix but we headed off after that.

We would take a few park toys (a slack-line/tight- rope which we set up between two trees, my hula-hoop, a towel to do yoga on, Brock’s basketball and the Frisbee).     ... Beach so we picnicked out there, coming upon a few things: tens of surfers catching late afternoon waves - Huntington Beach is aka 'Surf City'. Purely by chance we were also in town during the area's Tuesday arts/festival and farmer's market and if that weren't enough we and many others were pleasantly surprised and treated to a well-choreographed, musical flash mob put on by local kids promoting their production of 'Footloose'.
