... at 8 euro a litre...) was delicious and the grilled calamari eaten by the open fire place was some of the best I have ever tasted.

We finished our wine whilst taking full advantage of the free wifi and then headed to bed still lazy and with full bellies.

Tomorrow we are heading south to the Krka Falls, a recommendation from our friends Ana and Borut. Looking forward to it!

... great camp site on the Adriatic. Everything is still a little sleepy because the season hasn't started yet, but temps are up to 23 'C by day and we're updating our blogs (for your benefit and enjoyment) and enjoying the Croatian coast.

The plan was to check out some caves but by the time we got there they were already closed - oops! Oh well plan B, Croatia is not so bad.

Once across the boarder the coastal road was just brilliant. There were beaches and islands as far as we could see and the sunlight shining on the ocean was sensational. It even reached a toasty 24 degrees. We caught a quick ferry across to the Island of Pag which on one side is quite barren, rocky ...
