... about the Boboli Gardens ticket is that it also includes admission to the Costume Gallery, The Porcelain Museum, The Barbini Gardens and the Treasures Room. It doesn't look like you can just do the gardens, but it's a nice bonus if you have time. There's also some neat fountains, one of which even has a bench you can sit on and not get wet it rains due to the amount of leaves and trees that are over it.

Florence, France and Finale Ohmy
... Florence. I finished it was a show at the La Scala Theatre. The ships singers and dancers did a broadway Medley. Well performed and enjoyable!
Florence was a beautiful city. MUCH nicer than Napoli. I got to the Duomo, the Uffuzi and Pitti Palace. Sorry for not many photos, they weren't allowed though I snuck a few pictures in. Seeing artwork I had only seen in books or on the computer, just inches away was AMAZING!

David's central feature causes dads' unease.
... and walked down corridors that looked like we were in line in a government building to get a passport. The museum was pretty impressive, but the statue of David was incredible. Except for the prominent central feature, which invokes a bit of unease in the dad of a couple of twin teenage girls, the detail and proportions of the sculpture is mind blowing.
I wonder why they didn’t use clothing back then, it would have made my day a little bit more ...

... rooms (by European standards). Service was outstanding.
Our favorite day of this trip was the excursion to Cinque Terre! We would recommend everyone try aand take this excursion while visiting Florence. The scenery is sooo beautiful that we have made our photos into canvas prints that now hang on the walls in our home!
Also, other good side trips:Siena and San Gimignano! Both beautiful and unique!
