      First of all we left the town and drove into the heart of the island, where we went to a small village. Here we went to see an olive press museum, then walked down and saw a traditional ceramic maker. We saw how he made his pots and jars.       ... this is because it is a maze. I dropped off my buggy and walked back to the hotel/hostel.
      After dropping off my stuff i went for a walk along the St George's beach. I walked right to the end, had a swim, then walked back to the other end of the beach and had a drink at the bar. I then walked back to the hotel/ hostel.

      ... with another great meal, and somehow managed to fluke a spot out on the balcony over looking the sunset which was amazing, not to mention the plates of food double the size Of my head jam packed with traditional Greek food. I'm turning into quite the fatty even though we're doing all this walking and climbing stairs..oh well what are holidays for?!?!       Goodbye Crete and the best food we have had on our holiday to date. Our wonderful maitre'd at the Galaxy hotel Hara was the most attentive and generous I have ever come across.
