... of the longer stays.

We took a walk into the local village, Capmany, this morning, found the cafè/bar and got an ice cream and found the deli and got lunch, a nice walk around the narrow streets before we headed back to the site. After lunch we had a game of pétanque and chilled out in the sun. This evening we will pack up ready for our move tomorrow for the first of our longer stays.

From Girona we took a secondary road to Figueres, through pleasant farming country with views of some of the smaller Pyrenees outliers. Figueres is the birthplace of artist Salvador Dali and the place where he established his famous theatre museum. Google doesn't account for the sign for the tollway becoming the regional road - even when we turned back ???? Then next day we counted the 18 roundabouts from the main road through o the Cadaques exit and THEN 13 klms of extremely narrow windy road down the mountain , don't know how the tourist coaches do it but glad we ...

... the sun! This town would be great for a hash run with the many alleys and stairs. At night on our balcony the moon was almost full and the water, castle and anchored small boats looked magical! We are now onto Cadaquez up the coast 120klms - we heard about it from a Florida couple we talked to in the street, Salvador Dali lived and painted there for many years!! the medieval castle and village dates back to the 14th ...
