Five Cool Rooms Buenos Aires

We stayed at this great place for several nights while in BA, traveled a bit away from that city and returned to this hotel for our final night in Argentina. The room was small but very nice. Breakfast every day was good and the dining area was very attractive - with an option of dining outdoors on the roof terrace. Best of all was the extremely friendly and helpful staff. My partner and I celebrated our 15th year together and they surprised us with champagne waiting in our room and a cute heart souvenir. I really felt like it was returning home at the end of every very busy day!

I was recommended to stay at this cool hotel by my son who lives in Palermo in Buenos Aires. One of his friends had stayed there on his honeymoon and recommended it.

I was visiting with my 21 year old daughter and it was the perfect place to stay. We actually stayed 5 days at Five and then stayed 3 days at the Bobo Hotel (which we discovered reading Trip Advisor). Both hotels were wonderful in their own way but Five was definately in the better location for tourists. The shops and restaurants around the area were fantastic.

We stayed at FIVE COOL ROOMS and we had the best time ever! The girls at the Front desk were very helpfull and they did everything for us! The whole staff was awesome! We HIghly recommend it! Great location and very trendy!

I hardly recommend that Small Hotel. When i got there it was a surprisse !!! Itīs gorgeous!!! All the details are incredible.The location is the best in Palermo Soho.You are just in the middle of Palermoīs Hart.The staff is super efficient !!! They can take care of your things while yo are having some fun. We arraged there our trip to Iguazu, and we can`t regre t!! They suggested some tango shows and a socker game wich were just great .All their suggestions were super!!! We felt at Five`s like we were at home.If i have a place to recommend is that friendly Hotel!!

We started our six week trip of Argentina and Brazil in this hotel and it was a nightmare three days. Thanks god the rest of our trip was so fantastic that we managed to forget about our hellish experience at Five Cool Rooms. On arrival we found the hotel very pleasant however the safe in our room was broken and we were in a hurry as we had booked to go to a football game at Boca Juniors and only had a few minutes to change. I was wearing two rings and a bracelet which I was advised to leave in the room as the Boca games weren't safe. We hid the jewelry and ran out the door to make the game. When we got back our room was turned down and my jewelry was missing. Needless to say we quickly reported to reception and demanded to see the manager or for the police to be called. Reception just didn't care and said we would have to wait until the morning for the manager to come in. When we suggested the police they just laughed. We thought the manager might take matters a little more seriously but he was just as bad. He agreed that the maid was the only one in the room whilst we were gone but he could not prove she stole the jewelry. He would not take responsibility for the broken safe and said we would have to go to the police by ourselves. So we reported it to the police thanks to a very nice Argentinean girl at the station who helped to translate for us. The manager knew we would be unable to communicate properly with our broken Spanish and offered no help. They did nothing at all to try recovery the jewelry and the maid in question was still cleaning other rooms when we left.

We had hid the jewelry well which meant this particular maid had gone through all our belongings to find something of value. This was very unsettling. We actually could have coped better had our room been broken into. The management and staff at Five Cool Rooms were rude and did nothing to help us. I would not recommend this hotel and if you do stay there make sure your safe works. To us it seemed all too coincidental!

This hotel is located right in the middle of Palermo Soho with great restaurants and plenty od shopping nearby. The design is very tranquil (reminded me of being in a good spa). The staff is friendly, speaks good english and is extremely helpful. The rooms are on the small side, but that's the case throughout most of the boutique hotels. However, they were very nicely furnished with huge beds and high quality linens, TV's and very modern bathrooms. We spent there4 nights and were very happy with everything. They even held our luggage for a few days during our trip to Iguazu.

We stay at the five for fsix days , the staff was so helpfull and friendly , we loved palermo soho and five`s location was the best.

Clean atmosphere , attended by their owners, and the Decoration and Architechture were surprising.

Nos mandaron a los peores restaurantes de la ciudad, seguramente en los que reciben algun tipo de comision...nos parecio poco honesto y un abuso de su parte, nunca mas volveremos, confiamos en ellos y nos hicieron perder tiempo y dinero.

Five Cool Rooms has a lot to offer! It is located right in the heart of the chicest part of the Palermo district - there are literally tons of wonderful restaurants and boutiques in every direction! The hotel itself is visually beautiful when you walk in - a large, open courtyard has a very clean, modern asthetic and the building itself is quite stunning. However, the room we stayed in was called "Medium", but we were very surprised at how tiny it was - it's hard to imagine how small the one called "Small" must be...

The hotel does offer breakfast, but it is a very average assortment of pastries, cold cereals and yogurt - definitely a step down from some of the other boutique hotels in the area. For the same price you can get a fantastic room with a wonderful breakfast at the BoBo Hotel and for slightly more money you can have a stellar experience at the incredible Home Hotel! The big difference is the area - Five Cool Rooms definitely has the others beat for location!
