Day 10: Florence
We started the day with a major bummer: Bradley left for home bright and early, which makes me really sad. I miss him already and I'm jealous that he gets to see our pooch and smoosh his little Louie face. There are a ton of dogs in Europe, by the way, and people bring them everywhere with them. Day 6 - Florence's Final Stand

Pizza, pasta and gelato!
... We only wish we had found it earlier and could go back! Apart from eating, Florence (Firenze) was beautiful. We did the tourist things - the Duomo (a beautiful green white and pink marble church with the biggest brick done ever constructed), saw the real and 2 copies of David, and went through the Uffuzi Gallery. Fireworks in Florence
... and headed out to find a spot. The fireworks were being launched from the hill behind our apartment so we just walked along the river and found a cafe, that by chance had Chianti in stock. and we watched the fireworks. It was neat to see that the city turned off all the street lights along the river literally 5 seconds before the start so the display was great. Thousands of people lined the bridges and the river to watch. ...

... was all gorgeous! Than I got back to my apartment and played Cinderella and swept, moped, and cleaned our kitchen to prepare for check out. We all got ready for our last night out together and started by going to Moyo, which has become our favorite apertivo place.
