Today we took shuttle from Coconut Plantation office building to Marina then taken Beach Ferry to Big Hickory Beach (private). The facilities was outstanding, with tight security (entrance required room key, restroom also require a magnetic card to enter). ... Homestead for the night and then to Key Largo tomorrow morning.
Ible and I are so happy to be in this part of the country at this time of year. I have never been in this sort of weather during the winter months. It is both thrilling and odd. Part of my brain is kind of confused whenever I look outside and then look at the calender on my phone. Though, I may be a bit confused, I think I can live with that.

... and modern. A total step up from the Fountain Inn yesterday. The whole complex is set on a man made private beach on a bay. It was incredible, and like nowhere I'd stayed before.
