    Yay for dietary requirements! We've been fed terrible thick bum sandwiches so I switched to lactose free diet for the rest of the trip. There are two gluten free and two vegetarians on the trip and now I've joined their ranks. What this means is I get salads for lunch instead of horrible sandwiches. We have been fed so much bread on this trip that all of us are just sick of it. And so ...

It's a permanent exhibition on the history of Obersalzberg and the Nazi dictatorship. It was very interesting and well done.     ... Celeste and Peter shared a tasting platter with a bit of everything on their menu! The serves were huge! See the photos! I thought I would try an Austrian speciality for dessert. I can't remember it's proper name but it's a soufflé. What they fail to tell you and the menu doesn't explain either, that it's "HUGE" and is supposed to be shared between 5 or 6 people. Everyone had a taste and we had to leave about a third of it. ...

    ... hollow and surrounded by mountains - lovely last view. Salzburg was busy but, for once, Mr GPS did us proud and we ended up at the airport which is very close to the town. The security guy at Hangar-7 let us park the van in the free visitors car park for half-an-hour, just long enough to wizz round with the camera, and visit the plush toilets.     ... through the villages to Kitzbuhel. The town centre is smaller than anticipated and what there is consists of expensive designer-clothes shops, jewellers, and restaurants.
