Kurz nach 9h stand ich bei der Autovermietung, unterschrieb die Papiere und los gings!!! Es is eigentlich ein Witz, dass man als 21-24Jährige pro Tag zusätzlich 25$ zahlen muss… …
Just outside of Pinkham Notch I met up wit a friend to explore and adventure. We walked up a beautiful creek looking at the amazing rocks there. Seams of different rock formations relieved part of the history of the land. Mica reflected the sunlight in every direction as it diffused through the clear water.
I walked barefoot, feeling the rocks under my feet. It felt like a dance ...
... woods in the back of the rig and a great view of the mountains in front.
today is our last day in new hampshire and it was BEAUTIFUL. we took a couple of hikes in the mountains by waterfalls and a gondola ride up wildcat mountain. we did do the loop last night that we did a couple of days ago and it was really nice. now that it is so nice, i hate to leave. i am looking forward to being on the coast, but first inland maine, near moosehead lake.
... I am just worried what my family would say if i told them i was going to do this, i feel like they would be condescending, judgemental, basically totally supportive. Just to make this clear, im not running away from home, i respect my family and want their aproval, but i want to do something like this to expand my view of life, explore new places and learn new things. I just don't think going the more worn route would be good for me.

I am sure this quote will come in handy as a reminder to us to manage everything that is thrown our way over the next six months - to come from a place of calm in our heart.
Peace remained the theme of the day as we drove on to Long Lake where the calm and peace echoed both off Long Lake and in the Dale cottage where we stayed at for the night.
