    ... all these people, there was lots of queueing for food and drinks, but we realize after several organized bus trips, that is what you have to expect when you do a bus tour.

    The entertainment was dancing and music from Hawaii, New Zealand and other pacific island cultures. I was amazed at how the girls manage to swivel their hips so fast and I could watch them for ages. Theo agreed that he could also watch them for ages, too, ha,ha,ha. ...

    ... As a quick side note, another thing we love about Hawaii is all the radio stations play Hawaiian music, not all the latest pop songs like everywhere else, here you tune in and there's no mistaking where you are and you cant help do the hula dance along to them!

    Anyway, back to the Luau. We were treated to a ceremonial lifting of the pig out of the ground then a feast ...

    ... not want to leave. That is just mind blowing to me. I lived in Alaska for almost 5 years and I have left at least once or twice a year. I could not even begin to fathom the idea of staying here for a whole year and leave even for a week or weekend!
    This post was dedicated to my Hawaii trip coming up in less than a week. My excitement is definitely off the charts! First trip in 2015!

    ... wearing tight black
    pants and highlighter pink tracksuit jackets doing multiple stretches before
    heading up. We think their stretches went for longer than the actual walk would
    take. From there we caught the bus to Hanauma bay, a very beautiful snorkelling
    area where we discovered Hawaiian water is no better than NZ -Alex came out
    blue and shivering all over.

    From there it was time to head to the mainland where the
    security people are not near as friendly. ...
