We stopped off at Eli Creek where we walked down the river bed, a massive sand dune, a bakery (!) and a lovely lake before heading back to Hervey Bay. Thankfully we had done no major damage to our van so got our bonds back and no excess to pay, phew! ... hi to everyone and no one replied- how flipping rude so when I got out I made a point of speaking to them. Our group consists of 6 Germans, 3 Swiss, 1 Spanish and 3 English. We cooked our dinner over the gas cooker- defiantly want one when I get home they are awesome!!! A must for the IOW festival!!! We could cook a feast!!!
After eating alone as there was no room at the other tables where the others were sitting and they most defiantly didn’t offer to move up for us!! So ...

... o koalor -söta! I torsdags kom vi hit till Noosa. Vi har haft tur med vädret, äntligen sol o bad. Har åkt boogieboard o badat i galna vågor. I fredags kom Annika o hennes kille hit över helgen, vi gick bland annat till nationalparken där vi såg både delfiner i havet, samt en vild koala i ett träd :) Idag har vi haft en heldag på stranden, lyckades se knöl valar ...

... first day of canoeing. It was 3 people to a canoe and there were 3 canoes in total. We paddled up the river 5km to a massive lake where we had a further 2km to the beach to pull in. The views were very beautiful and we had landed in a small village where we would have lunch at one of Australia's oldest pubs. A very nice pub but doesn't compare to some old English pubs for sure! We got up early to go to McDonalds to use the WiFi as Emma's friend was in labour the day before so she was anxious to see the news about the birth of her new Godson.
