Muggy Day in Florence
... steak before they cook it. They will present it to you and ask if it's okay. The weight includes the bone. Why check it? You could get a big surprise on your bill like we did. We ordered 1kg, but when the bill came, it was for 1.6 kg...When you order, they'll say they'll try to make it close to 1 kg (but they don't say whether that's on top of the bone) so be clear. We think we ended up with 1 kg of meat and 600g of bone...otherwise a really good dinner.

Two women, two weeks, three countries
... life without a second thought and, after a few awkward and painfully inefficient conversations, we made it to our hotel. (Also, we encountered NOT ONE rude Parisian over the course of four days. Parisians have an attitude but they are not rude. After all, everyone would get frustrated with the constant influx of dumb, incapable, and culturally-insensitive tourists.)
Ahhh Firenze!
... rooms (by European standards). Service was outstanding.
Our favorite day of this trip was the excursion to Cinque Terre! We would recommend everyone try aand take this excursion while visiting Florence. The scenery is sooo beautiful that we have made our photos into canvas prints that now hang on the walls in our home!
Also, other good side trips:Siena and San Gimignano! Both beautiful and unique!
