While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. I-10 was a pretty boring drive. Lots & lots of trees. Reminds me of childhood trips to Florida with my mom. There was a lot of haze too. It stretched for over 50 miles. We had never seen anything like that. As we got closer to Jacksonville, the drive seemed to pass by quickly. It is an amazingly easy drive ...

Will I Make It?

... I was greeted by almost all of the 2011 ETA's which was great! After spending quite a few hours feeling sad, I was glad to have people to take my mind off leaving America and to share stories with. The flight wasn't full, so I was able to move my original seat to sit with a close ETA friend. We confided in each other, shared anxieties, laughed, I cried lol, slept and had a pretty good flight over to Jo'burg together.
