Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. ... downtown ATL (I have friends that visit there). We made a drive-by & grabbed McDonalds. Then at exit 39, we stopped for gas. From there it was on to Florida & I-10. I-10 was a pretty boring drive. Lots & lots of trees. Reminds me of childhood trips to Florida with my mom. There was a lot of haze too. It stretched for over 50 miles. We had never seen anything like that. As we got closer to Jacksonville, the drive seemed to pass by quickly. It is an amazingly easy drive ...
