... okay, probably all of us) are feeling pretty weary. It has been lots of fun so far, but very full-on. No rest tomorrow though, with a scheduled day in New York City.
One little post-script...while driving to the game with Patti navigating, rather than our GPS Nigel, she pointed out to us a local Jewish cemetery, with headstones adorned with rocks, rather than flowers. I hadn't noticed it before this point, but it did make for a curious sight.
... was probably the harried, tired, giant-backpack-iness of the pair of us, combined with the 'guiltyface' I can't help but pull whenever I see Authority Figures. It's like a really dodgy tic, even though I've never done anything to look guilty about! Still, by the time we'd gotten our bearings, the tiredness had given out and I refused to walk to find the hostel. Instead, we got a cab, and ultimately I was glad we had, as it would have taken us ages to find it.
... the liberty bell and added my name to the roster of the continental congress if someone from US Air had just given us a little heads up that they are completely incompetent. 7 hours later we land in Munich with just over an hour to clear customs, get our new boarding passes from Lufthansa and hopefully pound three strong german beers in the airport.
