        ... We were assured that we would make our connecting flight to Los Angeles, even though this left before we were due to arrive. After another trip through the naked scanner (yuck) and a three hour flight, we found that the company was true to its word.         ... just cooked ribs and risotto? Have I mentioned the authentic Italian restaurant,"Risario's" next door? Their Lasagna is to DIE for and even their salad is topped with two handfuls of grated cheese. Breakfast at Schooner or Later. You can order massive Bloody Mary's and ( my choice) a 32 oz mimosa.         ... looked like New York, Chicago and Boston.   All are shallow facades, made out of timber and board and painted and aged to look real.  There are even fake subway entrances. One of the buildings was more substantial with multi story construction with an internal steel frame and open ceilings to suspend lighting and other production aids.  This has been used for many movies including the café screen in Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the crystal ...

        ... most terrible way. He had a deep hatred of smart cars and though Los Angeles was the most ridiculous place in the world. He shouted at drivers on the freeway (that we were driving by, not even on) and spent a lot of the time talking to himself and answering questions he asked himself whilst referring to himself in third person.
