The adventure has certainly begun. I am currently on hour 30
of travel with over 6 left to go before I get on the 8 hour flight to the
14,000 foot airport of La Paz. I was trying to prepare for the high altitude by
drinking lots of water, and rest; which rest has clearly been impossible.
Hopefully all the talk about high altitude sickness is really no big deal.

The tour operator recommended his brothers place for lunch, a non-touristy Cuban lunchbar. We wandered to the lunchbar looking at the shops on the way.
