We arrived at the Detroit Airport at about 6:30 pm, got checked in, and they gave me a hard time about getting my boarding pass for the Paris to Lyon leg. ... and with Megan and Andrew's parents (all four of them came). The shindig didn't start until 6 o'clock, so the first 4-5 hours I was there consisted mostly of day-drinking with strangers and arranging straw bales, building a fire pit, checking out changes in the garden, and so on.

Its been really nice to stay with Beejal and Arun. They have a lovely and cosy apartment. We enjoyed chilling out with them and swapping stories about travels and work.
