    9:30 am and Im at Ottawa airport - along with many others who are trying to go to either
    washington or Chicago - seems there were several flights to these 2 cities cancelled yesterday
    and everyone is wanting to go home -- NOW!! - check in - flight is late seems to be a special
    service offered by United (my ticket is with Air Canada but the airplane is United). Good flight.

    ... cheaper than the observatory. We had a tea for 5 USD each. There is also a way not to pay at all if you're a woman ;) Before the entrance to the bar there are restrooms and the female one has the same stunning view as the bar. Unfortunately, men don't have this privilege :-)

    All in all, in exception of the weather, I really enjoyed Chicago and could totally imagine myself living there for a while :-)

    ... wedding band-ish. No matter--the beer was tasty, as was the fried okra, grilled wings, cornbread, and crab cakes. When the band "ripped into" a swing version of the Beatles' 'Can't Buy Me Love', we decided it was time to abandon ship. Back to the hotel we went; preparing our goodbye notes to the city that has hosted us for the past three days. Fare thee well, Chicago--and may your blue waters remain clean and providential forever...
