... kind of haven in Nashville and are in town for an event...amazing! I just love that I'm walking down the street in Texas and this happens. It isn't called The Music Capitol of the World for nothing. That evening I just grabbed some dinner with the 3 Swedish people I'm sharing with and then we play pool. Embarrassing I should be better as they've only played around 5 times each...I'm not. The game last ages!!! Fun ...

... cops on horseback made sure people were off the street a half hour later. We were beat and had New Orleans tomorrow so we called it a night, said goodbye to Ilya and passed out.

Before leaving Austin the next day we went to Rudy's Gas Station BBQ and got a tank of gas and some of the best BBQ on the trip. While I came into Texas thinking I just couldn't wait to get out, I will admit that the people and places were a lot of fun. Next up, NOLA.

By this time it was around 2pm so we boarded a bus and headed over to the other side of the river to check out all of the cool stores along South Congress Street. ... input. Austin has been probably my favourite city so far. So laid back and easy yet it's not too big. It would be a very liveable city and didn't seem to expensive. A little background - Austin is a very Liberal city in a Republic state. They have the saying 'Keep Austin Weird'. Girls can actually walk around topless if they want - a law was passed to ensure equal rights! It didn't seem to weird to me but it defiantly wasn't what you would expect as a Texan city. A must see city I ...

... made our way to the heated lagoon pools that had a swim up bar. Now that's how I like to do a water park!!

We did ride an old accordion bus to a newer part of the park towards the end of the day. Roman said that was one of his favorite parts of the day!! So funny how 5 year olds think :)

We closed the place down at 8 p.m. We were tired from the heat and water, but it was a fun filled water day!!
