      I was showered and down in the parking garage, unloading my bike at 7:45am. It continues to be unseasonably cold, so I again used my winter cap, gloves and four layers up top. I reached downtown and was riding around looking for another Starbucks, when I saw a Residence Inn.       ... but excited expressions. Our first wild snake! So exciting. All this wildlife in the middle of a city. Austin is just awesome. We cooked dinner on the large patch of grass in Zilkner park, sharing a bench with 2 guys called Baxter and Cameron. They were drinking beer and enjoying the sun on a Saturday.       George Washington was inaugurated as the first President of the United States using this Masonic Bible which was borrowed from St John's Lodge No. 1, chartered under the Grand Lodge of the State of New York, F. & A.M.

      It was exhibited last night, 10 December 2013 in Parsons Masonic Lodge.

      ... is after all the longest vacation that either one of us has ever taken in our lifetime.

      This trip is our "practice" trip (if you can believe it) for our big trip around the world next year (more on that later).       ... was FREEZING so cold I'm cold. It's cool but I didn't take my phone there so Google it right now I'll just wait here. Okay Tonight we went to 6th street which is the bar district. It's like one giant party both in the bar and on the street. Police on horses clip clopping around is apparently normal.
