... the last 100km to Logorno, we took an A-road which paralleled and toll road … and we noticed no trucks at all on the toll road and many, many trucks on ours.

Got up, had breakfast and decided to head to a Saturday market in Sant Jordi for a look. On the way Eddie decided to call in to see Dirk as he hadn't heard from him the previous day. When we arrived we were given the sad news that Dirk had passed away during the night.
