Flight to Brisbane with loads of screaming kids. Lovely. Prior to that, the taxi driver made me name 10 parts of the body with only 3 letters (no slang or abbreviations). That's one way to keep me quiet for half an hour I suppose! Photos to follow...

Well that has been my month of February, I travelled with one of my best friends I have made here, spent just over 1000 km on a greyhound, have met some crazy hippies, and am now fruit picking for the short time. Life is good in Australia and I am glad I am still here. Amazing news is I have some fantastic friends at home who are making their journey down under! Some more memories I can't wait to make!

We had found a serviced flat at a place called Catford – more like Little Jamaica! I think that we were almost the only white people we saw the whole time we were there! But it was only about 30 minutes from Central London, and it was a new part of London to explore.

Arrived in Brisbane, we had booked an apartment 2 days previously and we hit the jackpot. Only 6 months old, very good location, within walking distance of river and CBD area. Fully equipped, even washing machine and dryer :-) :-).
Brisbane population is 2.15 million. Thank goodness for a GPS we could avoid all the toll roads.
