Absolutely gorgeous. I feel like a movie star in this hotel room! Our view is phenomenal over the Brisbane river. We took the kids from Burleigh on a train to Brisbane which was super easy to figure out. We checked into the hotel, and then went to the pool. We had so much fun using the go pro in the pool as we jumped in! After we grabbed some …

Further along are gasworks which are lit up beautifully on a Friday and Saturday ...

Liam jumped in the freezing cold swimming pool to feel a little better with some exercise and we took part in a trivia night where we actually won the quiz! This was as much of a shock to us as anyone but surprsingly ...

We got back to the hostel and checked our money situation which is good :) we are on track if not a little well off so maybe I will splash out on a cider soon. Still can't get over how expensive it is!!...We have concluded that Australia is expensive not as expensive as everyone made out but in terms of eating out, imported drinks (cider and coke/sprite etc) it's expensive.
