      At sea just off Alicante

A travel blog entry by danutastephen on Nov 18, 2014

Sailing down the coast of Spain en route to Tangiers. It is a beautiful day, the sun is shining and the Med is like a mill pond. We had breakfast and then off to play deck quoits and shuffleboard. George and partner Lorna won the quoits and I was in the other semi. Both of us in different semis in the shuffleboard but both lost. George was also a losing semi finalist in the afternoon quoits and in the afternoon shuffleboard. In between we had a ...

We had a wonderful lunch with friends from Sweden and Norway yesterday here at Casa Largo Vida and the day before we had a belated birthday celebration with another friend. We are playing tennis on Sunday with English friends and this evening we will meet with our Bilingual Friends in El Campello. As you can see the routine isn't too boring, lots of friends and fun.

Hope you are enjoying the same!

We woke up around noon and went exploring past La Rambla. We went to see all the fresh fish and meats at Mercado Crentral, bought some turrones for gifts from a charming, jolly old man at a kiosk. Then it started to rain so we sucked into a Lizarran and had a couple of pinxtos for lunch. We kept walking and ended up at Plaza de Los Luceros. We then went to el Corte Ingles and a charming little ceramics shop were we got a couple of gifts. Then it was siesta ...

      Got Engaged!

A travel blog entry by wishopeace on Nov 08, 2014

After lunch, we came home to get ready for our photo shoot. We dressed nicely and then we met Maria at SoHo where we took a taxi to El Castillo. There we took a bunch of pictures and then we went to a spot overlooking the city where we had taken a picture of our hand four years ago. There he popped the question! We both cried as the photographer shot away. We came down we barrio and took a few more pictures. After, ...
