All hands on deck for this short hop to Larnaca in Cyprus....Axe and Maddog flying in FEDEX colours whilst Granite on Compass and Picasso on RAAF (Bobby would not have him any other way...he likes him in uniform....) made the full complement.

We pushed back and all lined up at the holding point on runway 18....and away we went..

The main/only reason to visit Northern Cyprus was to visit Iuliia who is just finishing her studies there. She took us around to various different places with the help of her friend who is a chef at a restaurant and made us delicious delicious food.

After a bit of delay in the morning in our flight schedule, we still managed to make it in time to Larnaca and to the Sea Cloud. My dad, who still had no idea of what to expect from his vacation, was very surprised and delighted to see the Sea Cloud. ... likely her hair than mine. But they wouldn't hear anything of it. We were all pretty surprised because in any other restaurant I've ever been to, even if it had looked like my hair, they would have brought me a new salad.

On top of that the fish was dry and overcooked, leaving no taste behind and overall it was all very disappointing. We walked along the harbour after our meal and Philip treated us all to some delicious ice cream so at least we had something yummy to eat tonight!
