... we'll still get to pass through smaller towns. We'll see how we go, and hopefully Google Maps stops being crazy once it's in Poland. Note from Jess: From looking at the clouds and the radar, it seemed that we had plenty of time before it was supposed to rain heavily... and I was right! Also, the bigger supermarket (which had more chance of having stir fry sauce or even soy sauce) was just around the corner but somehow we didn't ride past it since we went a different way ...

First full day in Prague we opted to walk into town to have a look. It wasn't the most exciting walk in since we were way out in the burbs - lots of train track undersides and motorways. As soon as you hit the centre though, everything changes. We walked up a street where you can see a massive gate from the old walls with cars going through. ... never scared just walking the streets or being alone. It is a beautiful city and I recommend it to anyone who may have the chance to go. Germany has also been an awesome country to travel through, the language barrier isn't horrible and it is easy to get around with trains and cheap buses. I love Germany which is probably why I spent a month travelling through it. I will write a second post starting from Berlin because I feel like this one will take awhile to read anyways. ... time of day to see it. This was probably the highlight of the day, as it was indeed extremely quiet with only a few people walking slowly taking in the sights. ... The next day we arranged a Hop on Hop off bus tour which included a one hour cruise. This filled in most of the day and we walked along the River Vltava to our hotel to rest up before our evening dinner cruise. We met a family of Italians on the boat and although they didn't speak much more English than we did Italian, we got along famously.
