... the island come in to set up shop to sell their wares. It's mostly all high quality, hand grown or crafted items loving care. The only thing I bought was some natural bamboo fibre socks. I got them at a discount since the woman knew Shazza. Very small world down here..

... beer is acceptable with your dinner!! It's a backpackers, but feels more like a prison regime. The walls are littered with typed notices about the do's and don'ts in the hostel.

This morning we had a little explore of Launceston, nice enough but nothing that got us too inspired. The waterfront area was nice with some lovely boats, cafes and a boardwalk. The weather is amazing, crisp sunny days, we have been very lucky so far.

... the people were as Launceston itself was deserted yet there were no rooms or restaurants available for the long weekend. We even got kicked out of the pub at 9pm on the Saturday evening as they were closing!
