... and I worked another full week again. Julie is getting all Jesus-ed up in Catholic schools, whilst I was plying my craft in the easiest Year 3 grade I can imagine. I think there was one kid that called out once during the week, which was my most serious disciplinary issue. I let that kid go home with a card that said 'Happy Moths Day’. ... to do random spot checks on vehicles on the road, and hand out fines where they see fit. This was my first encounter - after about twenty minutes of the police questioning our driver and inspecting the van, it was clear there was nothing or of kilter on the vehicle. This apparently wasn't good enough for the police who issued a fine because 'the painting was not pretty enough' on the van's trailer. ...

... that...I shouldn't have because my leg had started aching, but it was fun at the time..;-) I cut through the Mall, seeing a cool Florence Nightingale Memorial, and Edward VII of Edwardian Era fame and into Piccadilly...most things were closed, but did enjoy Hatchard's, the oldest bookstore in London (1797.) I used the bathroom at Fortnum and Mason's, LOL, and a bit of wandering in Green Park, but my heart wasn't in it, and grabbed the tube for Bayswater.

... always when I take communion I was filled with the magnitude of what I was doing. Each time I'm reminded of just how awesome our Jesus is, on the night before his death he took time to leave a symbol of himself and his life on earth to those He left behind. The very act of taking communion reminds me that even at the end He thought of others over himself. What greater love is there than this? So, as always I was moved but this time I was moved to tears, literally big wet ones running ...
