We finished up in the newest of the Queens Picture Galleries, the Cumberland Art Gallery, which has only been open at Hampton Court for about 6 months.

... a McDonald breakie. Me and Noel are so so tired. It's going to be a long day. Narita airport is cool. There is long flat sofas to lie and even sleep on if you want. We had three hours wait in Narita. The flight was delayed by 10 minutes and then when we boarded it was delayed by another 30 minutes. It was quite frustrating but apparently there are loads of checks happening at the airport today and they had to get some cargo off also. The captain kept us informed ...
We wake to heavy rain that lasts for about half an hour before clearing away to a fine and cool day. After breakfast we decide to go back into London and watch the changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. We stroll past icons such as Big Ben, the House of Parliment, Westminster Abbey before heading to the palace.

... different shops and checking out 1/2 ticks for shows later in the week. There were buskers of the many varieties on the streets and in the 'tube'. The lights, colours and sounds as it became dark, all intriguing. Along the way we found Starbucks - again - and just had to have hot chocolates and egg nog lattes! We returned home around 7:00 to plan our week. Lots to do and see! I looove London ...
