Me & Catherine hired a car-she was a bloody marvellous driver and I was too much of a scaredy cat to get behind the wheel-so I essentially had a chauffeur for the weekend, thanks lady-you were awesome. We went from Brisbane to Surfers paradise, for the sole purpose of scaring ourselves shitless on some awesome roller-coasters. As she was driving I did the navigating- really badly and got us driving around in circles at least 5 times in the first ...

... 21st) we went to Byron Bay to go swimming. We took the surf board and I managed to catch a few waves but this little kid on a bogie board kept stealing my waves! ... Bay Arts Factory hostel, Kayaking with whales in Byron Bay and the amazing people we have met along the way. We are currently sitting in Surfers Paradise catching up on civilized life at a time share apartment Rachelle's parents were nice enough to book for us, our van is at the doctor getting a new radiator before we head into the scorching outback. This is an amazing country and so similar to Canada except the nicer weather here.

We basically plan on heady off south along the coast. We plan on travelling between 2-4 hours between stops, starting from home. We will visit numerous free camps with caravan parks in between to charge the batteries every 4-5 days, especially if there is no sun! We've never done this free camp thing so at the moment it's a bit of an unknown on how it all ...

... was not there. Panic and stress mode went up another notch. We decide the only place it could be is the restaurant. We hike up to Starbucks where I had an extra wifi code (so I could post the blog) and call the restaurant, which was closed. We decide to call RBC and put a hold on all of Heather's cards so that no one could use them. We then headed off to the police station to file a report in case anyone found it and turned it in. After all of that it was well ...
