    We had a bye first round but Jade was umpiring at 9 so Denise and Mary-lee took her over and left Phillippa to get the girls organised for breakfast and onto the bus which we did on time which doesn't usually happen. Mark had decorated the bus windows using a red chalk marker so that was a cool surprise.

    ... remembered, is that we met this one guy who kind of swam over to us in the sea. And basically he told us how he lived in Brisbane, in a nice apartment, earning 1000 dollars a week, so living quite a luxurious life. Then one day 2 weeks ago, out of nowhere, he quit his job and drove to Byron, where he is now living out of his car, skint, smoking weed everyday, hanging out with the homeless, sleeping on the beach etc. but he told us how he has never felt so happy ...

    ... the 11th floor of the Harbour Tower. The room is amazing. It is an apartment with a lounge, kitchen and very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Our views over the harbour and the Heads are magnificent. We settled in and then went for a walk over to the foreshore and then checked out the Tweed Mall. Here we browsed the shops and I found a very well priced skirt in the Black Pepper shop. We then bought some supplies at BWS and returned to the hotel.
