... The sand was lovely and white and the sea was very hot. It is the Mexican gulf sea so that is probably why. In fact it was so hot it was warmer than outside. It was like a jacuzzi. So we swam in it for a while till we were too hot and had to sit in the sun to cool us down haha. After around maybe two hours a big cloud came over and it looked like it was going to rain. ... halfway to Naples, to meet the other half of our yearly "golf friends" trip. Parisis (Pennsylvania) and us (native and future North Carolina) met Schmidts (Michigan) and Merritts (South Carolina) for cocktails and dinner. Had a great time, beautiful day. We re-fight the War of Northern Aggression every year at a different location - the girls all enjoy each others' company, and the guys love to golf together. It is a highlight of the year!
