... there. Located in the middle of a three-hundred year-old city, the modern structure (see the photos) was more than a little out of place. The citizens of Natchitoches weren't about to turn down a $7 million building, so the Hall of Fame was built in the middle of an "old town" that is draped in banners heralding their 300th year anniversary. A little weird.... We explored close to the B&B and ate dinner at one of the few places that was open. A rather plain vacation day ...

... in the middle of their 19th annual rhythm and blues festival. We quickly made our way down to the Cane River Lake where the festival was blaring. A few minutes and a short walk away, we were listening to their hometown singer who recently departed "The Voice", TV show.
