As this event is a precursor to the World Championships here in Feb 2015 there were many more sponsors tents and promotions than at Aspen. We visited them all and came away with a bag of goodies - champagne stoppers, key rings, luggage tags, stickers, t shirt, toe warmers, lip balms, several cowbells, picnic rugs, posters and a supply of breakfast/ muesli ...

Really was a repeat of Wednesday. An overcast day with some flat light made skiing a little challenging. In some ways we have spoilt ourselves at home as we really only ski bluebird days now. Arrived in Beaver Creek and what an amazingly beautiful place this is. Reminds us of the village at Whistler with their trees decorated with lights, snow on the ground and this amazing mountain dominating the scenery. The hotel is right on the slopes so is ski in, ski out. Our room is lovely with a great view of the slopes. Can't wait to try them out tomorrow. It was such magical time this Thanksgiving.
