... plans with Lucy to see “Coming to America” in Central Park. We get the metro to her hotel and say a quick hi to Gareth on Skype before heading out. The trains are packed tonight. We wait for two to pass until we finally have some space to get in, we are packed in like sardines and we are thinking whether its not better to have walked up. I had a sleep in after watching the thunderstorm last night. I cleaned up the apartment and finished packing my bags. Jeez I have bought a bit of stuff over the last few days. Both suitcases are chock-a-block.

42 minute flight to NY. Security, security and yet more security! Small jet with a ropey landing. Have to mark the pilot down. He's definitely not going to get a tip!

... think subway but with Mexican food. I have to admit, after my taco bell experience on day 2, I was dubious to try Mexican again, but it was actually really good.
So, after dinner we came back to the apartment and Amy and I gave Emily a lesson in Scottish cinema and we all watched train spotting on Netflix. Not much to report after that, just a trip to the 7eleven for slurpees and then bed.
