In the meantime, there had been a couple of minor rain showers, just a little drizzle here and there to cool us off. We didn't mind, the temperature was great. ... sensation! Warm weather wimps, the pair of us :-) Left at 1pm to drive to Ochlockonee. Nice forest next to the river and a famous albino squirrel it seems. They are fast!!! ... days! How weird that I have more driving experience in America than the UK. I will definitely be driving on the wrong side when I'm at home, and what the hell is manual these days??? Destin was a good stopover and the beach was lovely, the weather is very temperamental and that ruined it a little. It's also quite commercial and 'chavvy' so I probably wouldn't go back but it was good to see. Next stop New ...

... thing not paying much attention to the television.
Halfway through the week we discovered we were missing an amazing opportunity of the beautiful evenings on the beach. So then we began to feed the children at 5:30 so that we could all go down to the beach at six. The children were still interested in playing in the waves and in the wading pool and we adults could just sit back and ...
