... Samana from as high as 1,500 feet. Unfortunately, the heavy rain overnight made me skip the area’s top natural attraction, the Salto de Limon, a waterfall that’s either an hour hike each way along a steep and usually very muddy trail or a guided horse ride trip, and those things scare me. make even a pretty basic living. The settlements all look a little
hardscrabble, but maybe in a warm climate you don’t need much more to survive

After many tears, we left Nagua around 1:00 and headed to Santo Domingo. We arrived safely and have spent the rest of the evening hanging out and playing cards. After many hours in the son working and building relationships, it was good to take a break for a while. We will be headed out first thing in the morning to do some sports ministry and sight seeing before checking into the hotel for the last leg of the ...

... games ended out the night. Up early on Tuesday to begin day 2 of our work. Back to painting we went. Today seemed much hotter than Monday. Many Frogtogs came out and we are quite thankful for that invention. I'm personally thankful for Tina Gable who told me to get one. I am very glad I did!! For VBS today, we traveled to a town called Castillo. Here we were greeted by 90 children and 14 teens. They enjoyed ...
