... we had some free time to tour the "Old and New" Town of Edinburgh. We viewed the inside of St. Giles Cathedral which was very beautiful. The stained glass was amazing. While on our self-guided walking tour of the "Old" town we passed "The Birthplace of Harry Potter," which was a local coffee shop named The Elephant House. ... literally. A barely rotting 5000 year old carcass chained to the bottom of Loch Ness for fear of poaching, a lurching spine sliding through the black, metres from the camera. We saw sonar evidence of huge beasts, weighing tones, measuring metres long and diving faster than anything you can think of. We heard stories of recorded sightings dating back to 600 AD (St. Columba no less!), and then there's the problem of all the Loch's missing fish... where do 3 tonnes of fish ...
