We wake up to the first glorious day we’ve seen in Edinburgh since the evening we arrived so of course this must mean it’s leaving day! We gather our things, say fond farewells to Carol and Gerry, pack their gift of canned Grant’s Haggis (ingredient of highest percentage = lamb’s lungs) and trot up to the train station.

... happened to me before! I think it must have had something to do with the bus environment - over seven days pretty much everything is shared, including all available pathogens.
