... Shore Beach and headed down to Orange Beach. As we settled down on the white sands a huge storm suddenly appeared on the horizon and within minutes we were engulfed in torrential rain which was as warm as a bath. The kids couldn't care less and continued to swim in the sea while Lee and I huddled in the car. Within ten minutes it had passed. Crazy weather! It has been great visiting Alabama which is very much a less well trodden tourist state but nonetheless lovely. Next stop ...

... bottle was dangerously low. I thought we were going to have carry her she looked so pathetic! We kept walking because Lefty's pond was getting close, reasoning that we were awfully close to getting a glimpse of a deformed alligator.
