Kept on I-75 SB to make up some of that time spent on 19SB, and the further south I got the heavier the rain. I was in the 750+ km range when I thought I would stop for the day, in Fort Myers. ... company run by native Indians and had an amazing air boat trip across the swamps. Our guide found plenty of alligators hidden in the undergrowth. Another amazing experience. We hit the road again and did the 130 odd miles to Naples, a very upmarket beach town. We checked in to the hotel, changed and went down to the bar and sat watching the most incredible sun set over a white sandy beach. ... finished with the brilliant ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ on fast pass – which again we waltzed straight into compared with a 40 minute wait. On the way out, we walked around the tree house from Swiss Family Robinson…and then a quicker monorail and bus back to the car…
