Another day of nothing

Everyone slept in, including me. So in the morning, we got a late breakfast of eggs benedict, then went to the lagoon, saw some people from the boat (who I had no interest in seeing again, AND they were 10 years younger than me).

Luke hadn't eaten anything yet, so we went to get some more beers (!!!) and pizza with these young boys on …

We did three more dives before lunch on the last day of the trip. Everyone said goodbye and then we went to Eddie's penthouse near the airport.

The hostel next door had cheap dinner, so we went there, and swam in their pool. Our pool was nicer, so I'm not sure why that happened. Anyway, that was fine.

... to Ningaloo in WA but on a bigger scale and it took and hour and a half by boat to get out there from Cairns. Part of Ningaloo's magic is the fact that you can just snorkel it from the shore. We saw similar fish and perhaps a greater variety of coral. We loved every second of being in that underwater world. The company and boat we went with TUSA 6, were ecologically aware, sustainable/recycling award winning, and took us to 2 sites on the Hastings Reef near Port Douglas ...

... place, just outside of Sydney, called Manly. It's chilled out, relaxed and every small business had the word 'Manly' in front of it which entertained me probably more than it should have. Sailor, But It’s Better To See Something Once, Than Hear About It 1000 Times!!Great Barrier Reef Day! We boarded our boat at 9am and promptly headed off in the direction of the Great Barrier Reef (Moore Reef) on a 90 minute boat ride.
