      ... slowest drop into the water that Zoe would love it. Couldn't have been further from the truth, we had tears and accusations of dad being mean to full on threats of execution. The log ride is Zoe's nemesis... Nothing I can do about it!!! After loosing all faith in her fathers ability to pick out the good rides, it was nearing 2pm and we were all zonked. We decided that I should go get the swimmers out of the car while Olga and Zoe went for one ...

      ... into Coolangatta just after 1:00, which is actually just after midday as the town is on the border with Queensland which us an hour behind New South Wales. It's weird that you can gain or lose an hour by simply crossing the road.

      After checking in I wondered along the beach and round the bay, and booked in for a surf lesson the following day. Coolangatta is quite small and not very touristy, and also has good surf conditions; they host a surf competition there every year ...

      ... by how quick and painless it was. However we were lucky there were no queues.
      We sit for awhile at the airport and use the free WiFi and them walk to the campsite. We have booked a cabin for 2 nights and although check in isn't until 1pm the cabin is free so they give us the key. This time we are paying 71 dollars a night (not on suite but we do have fridge and TV).

      ... other than the fact that she wanted to move on into the Refuge and see the Koalas, Kangaroos, Pelicans and Eel feeding and the salt and freshwater Crocodiles. We both found the Refuge to be beautifully laid out and well cared for and spent the whole morning at the park, which is quite large and eventually at the farthest point away from the entrance we were both exhausted, it was a very hot day.
