We spent a day and a night on anchor in this wonderful place. Awaroa joined us, they had been cruising around Ibiza and met up with us here so we could cruise in convoy to Gibraltar.

As we all settled in to some sundown drinks a drama unfolded not far from us and we watched, as every boat in the anchorage did, a boat sink. It had clipped a rock at the entrance to the anchorage ...

... n awkward...On the mainland it's majorly topless but on the smaller islands surrounding like Formentura, bottoms aren't necessary either! Old and young, men and women! "Look away and don't stare!" Katee..."I don't get it."

... They reminisced over found memories of John, Charles' step father and how young everyone was back then. Pedro's children, Charles' playmates all those years back, had grown up and now live all over Spain.

... with stupid grins on our faces. You really knew you were in the party capital of the world then. There was a sea of people, two massive rooms with big stages, in one room they had a machine that blows cold air on everyone every now and then to cool you down. It was awesome. The night kicked on into the early hours as you would imagine.

We slept pretty much the entire day the next day by mistake. Still catching up from Croatia for us ...

Ibiza - day 17,18 & 19

... with 2 big rooms and loads of people packed in for a DJ who played some great music and awesome light show, along with stilt dancers in the other room, and a foam party which kicked off around 5am.

Day 19
Woke quite late again after a big night, watched a soccer match down at the local Scottish pub and grabbed a mega big breakfast at 3pm for about 5 euros which was amazing. Not a lot of activity or energy today to do anything other than recover ...
