... lift, we embarked on our 13km round trip hike up to 2228m, Mt Kosciuszko, the highest peak on mainland Australia (pronounced “kozzie-oss-ko”). The pathway was mostly on a metal grid, elevated about a foot off the ground. Probably to preserve the area and also to help when it is covered in snow. Nous continuons ensuite jusqu'aux fameux sites des 12 Apôtres, THE place à voir au long de la Great Ocean Road. De grands blocs de terre isolés en bordure de mer par l'érosion naturelle. Il n'en reste d'ailleurs aujourd'hui plus que 11, après l'effondrement du 12ème en 2004. Je vous laisse découvrir cet endroit magique en photo, cela vaudra bien toute description.

Finalement, arrêt pour la nuit à Port Campbell, un charmant village ...

... seems to be the stop over place for tour companies doing the Great Ocean Road. There were 3 tour companies there and the place was buzzing.

I finally made it there about 7.30 pm and I was absolutely exhausted. I had my favourite meal, 2 minute noodles and went to be around 9.30 pm. There were 9 other people in my room and they were making quite a lot of noise but I was so exhausted I fell asleep immediately.
