    I’ve just completed my 8th trip to Steamboat Springs and Vista Verde Ranch.     Our hike was absolutely wonderful. We started off near a little creek. We walked through tons of wildflower fields and through beautiful, lush woods. We could hardly believe we were still in Colorado because it was so green. After about 2 miles of uphill hiking we reached tree line.     ... Nirvana. Then when we went to buy our bottle of wine to match our spaghetti supper, the guy (20s) at the liquor store saw Pete's shirt and said Nice Shirt ... and then showed us his tatooed O on his calf. Go Ducks!

    We are back at Steamboat at the moment to catch up on e-mails etc and to plan the last few days of our journey.

    ... runs and lifts. Then trouble struck, up Burgess Creek and it's cold and getting hard to see, must be goggles fogging up, something must be wrong, will do an adjustment at the top. Seems to clear once off the lift, so off I head, oh what a mistake that was, it suddenly got worse, had to stop and gave a brief wipe and thats when it really went south, couldn't see anything now as it was icing on the goggles and I just smeared it everywhere and ...
