... are wonderful inns and B&B's. Typical of today there is a spa or wellness centre on every block; only four major blocks here and one traffic light. Everything is housed in restored historic buildings. We walked through neighborhoods, some of my favourite homes I have included. If we had to compare Milford to a place in Canada we would say Niagra-on-the-Lake, but Niagara is so commercialized compared to here. No ...

Ottawa was very good to us! Carrie's Cucina treated us to a wonderful roast leg of lamb dinner with fingerling potatoes and baby peas! Homemade cinnamon ice cream. ... hand. It's amazing. (Apparently we aren't the only ones who think so, because some of his work is in the Smithsonian.)

The best part is that he is an incredibly nice guy. He invited all of us (me, Phil, the kids, other cousins, aunts and in-laws) to gather around and watch him throw some of his signature "Shohola Bells" on his wheel in the studio. He patiently answered questions and demonstrated the ancient ...

We had just enough snow for the kids to make a snowman. In this pic, Vivi had shed her coat, but Payson had only just put his on; they worked up quite a sweat rolling up all the snow in the whole backyard. But it kept falling after they went to bed, enough that we had a pretty white lawn in the morning. ...
