... goodbye to the friends I had made on the before a small group of us left the Stray bus for the last time this trip and took a bus into town to find our hostels. Since Tuesday 22nd February 2011, the face of Christchurch was to be forever changed. ... home tomorrow morning. Maybe some observations of my time here instead:- Kiwis drive like utter eejits!!! Asian tourists appear to do nothing but smoke and take selfies with sticks!!! There are more sheep than people in New Zealand. The ozone layer in the Southern Hemisphere is very thin. There is no such thing as a New Zealand traditional meal. NZ wine is lush! (So I'm told) The Internet will transform people's lives here (once they all manage to get access to it) NZ camp ...
