... to our vehicle around 2pm. We were heading back to Staveley for our prepared lunch when the other family realized that one of their phones was missing, and must have fallen out at Edoras. We did not have time to turn back as our driver had another job to get to that evening, but they would be able to drive back to the spot themselves with their own car. We had our late lunch around 3pm and were very hungry by that point. Then we dropped the family off back at Methven. ...

... navigate your way round. Ray and Lewy got to have some play time (lewy has been a mummy's boy all trip which is tiring). The bad thing about when these two play is someone gets hurt. Ray has a black eye which he has been sporting since Auckland due to play time with lewy and tonight, Lewy has a bruised egg on his head from "play time". Tomorrow we spend 5 hours in the car, but once we get to queenstown we are there for 5 nights so I'm looking forward to it. Goodnight - love to you all ...

... racking to drive these stretches of highway... and on the left side of the road no less... I recommend it to anyone looking to truly explore this beautiful country! One of the sites on the list is called Pancake Rocks. You will see in the pictures how unique these rocks formations are and the scientists still aren't sure how these layered rocks were formed. ... br> somewhere to eat before heading to the airport and our hotel for the night. The
lady at the info centre recommended a pub just around the corner where we had
an excellent meal. This could well be our last proper meal for 48 hours! We then
negotiated the road closures and one way streets to arrive at the Hotel by 7pm
which gave us enough time to repack ready for a very early start tomorrow. We’ll be up at 4am!! Goodnight everyone.
