A lady (I think) in full head to foot abaya with a niqab veil covering all but a slit for her eyes was walking in front of us, with this very modest garb she carried a duffel bag over one shoulder - with the Liverpool FC crest plainly visible. Last night we had a great dinner with this Dutch-Maroccan lady that works at the embassy in Abu Dhabi. She cooked us real Maroccan food which was very enjoyable.
It seems like the Dutch community here tries to bound together. Still it's not easy at a certain age. Foreigners are still foreigners here, although about 10% of the population here are actually Emirates.
There's a lot of activity here and that provides better chances then the economy in The Netherlands. I see ...
