    ... bones and other signs that dinosaurs roamed the area. Unfortunately, we missed the turnoff for the monument and 30 miles later realized it. The Monument is a huge area, but when we arrived at the other end of the park, the only thing to see were more gorges and valleys, so we kept going. Sad to have missed it, but we plan on coming back out here at some point to see the Rockies.

    ... Sheraton and then had to go to the pass office to pick up my 50th anniversary pass (3 days of skiing for $159) and got skiing by 10:30am. I wacked my shin on Saturday tubing at the ranch and I had a big bruise where my boot hit my shin. It hurt like anything to ski.
