Arrived in Dubai at about 5.20 am local time. Was a long flight and although I had lots of leg room in my set, I was squashed between two guys which made me feel a bit uncomfortable when I slept but all good. Had some reasonably nice meals and watched some movies I wanted to see.

Didn't get to see Dubai itself as it was dark when we arrived and the airport is HUGE but no windows to see out of.

Left there at about 7 am for the 9 hour flight to Glasgow.

... home. I instantly became very nervous because we had a flight to catch in just a few hours. Luckily, it is very customary in Dubai for men to pull over and help. The flat was changed within 20 minutes thanks to a local arab man who stopped to help!

I was sad to leave this amazing place. The growth of Dubai over the past 30 years is unlike any other destination.. They have an amazing vision for the UAE and I am ...
