    ... doing the rooftop walk, before we head to the airport for our 26 hour journey home :S It's been lots of fun getting a taste of four of the worlds top cities... I think Rome wins top place for me - beautiful people, delicious food, culture, warmth, reasonably cheap. But I have loved each city for different reasons, and I'd go back to any of them any day.     The Stanley Theater is absolutely beautiful. The photos we took fail to capture how lovely it really is. A sister named Ursula from the Polish congregation in New Jersey was our tour guide. She showed us all the facets of the building and related its history.

    ... was mostly sunny when I went in, but by the time I came out about two hours later, it was overcast and drizzly ... as you can 'see' from my photo of Lady Liberty ...

    In fact, every time I have been to NYC the Statue has been obscured ... the first time, by brown haze from large bushfires upriver, the second by intermittent rain ... and the third by, well, intermittent drizzle. Bugger.

    Oh well, maybe another day <sigh> or not.
